Good morning SCL!
Yesterday was a fantastic day, with some amazing counter-strike and some really exciting matches. Zero Tenacity stepped up and won the throne for Intermediate Season 2, and Valhalla did an amazing run and won the whole Public Division. We have hit insane viewer-numbers throughout this season and we can definitely tell that the teams playing SCL Season 2 is now on the maps of counter-strike.
Season 2 has been an interesting run, not only for the teams playing but also for us in the administration. Thanks to the community have we gotten better servers, more locations and prepared a better anti-cheat. We have solved multiple amounts of bugs on the platform, and made a big redesign. We have also added new cool features like the feed and the team-finder.
SCL is finally turning out to be what we wanted it to be when we started this. We have a great amount of plans on how to expand SCL and make it even more attractive, and to us this just feels like the beginning. We intend to take you with us on this ride, and when SCL hit the stages, do we hope to have plenty of you with us. Now that SCL has grown were we afraid that the community we have built would start to split up more, since that is usually what happens when things expand. But the exact opposite has happened, and SCL is a more fantastic community now than ever before.
What have we learned from Season 2 and what will Season 3 offer?
- A strong, quality anti-cheat will be implemented (Akros).
- We will add another login option, not only "Sign in by Steam".
- We will update the league rules to clarify the use of e.g buggy molotovs, roster-locks and more.
- We have implemented push notifications to make sure rescheduling-offers don't go missed as easily.
And as always, we listen to our community. https://discord.gg/kvJt68Wutk
